Why We're Moving to Subscriptions
We understand that this change has come as a surprise so we want to be clear about our decision to move to a subscription model.
Our apps have been a paid-for product for over 10 years, and we're incredibly grateful to our loyal customers who've enjoyed free updates throughout that time. As the app industry has evolved, more and more developers have moved towards subscriptions to support ongoing development and maintenance. We've resisted this change for as long as possible, but it's now become essential to ensure we can continue to keep the high-quality apps you love available. We feel that removing the apps entirely from the App Store would be a bad outcome for our users.
Do I have to subscribe?
We are not requiring customers who paid for the app to subscribe. If you purchased the app out-right, you will maintain access to the features originally available when you purchased the app. However, We are asking all customers to consider moving to a subscription going forward for new features and to maintain the app to run on future os versions and devices. This means from time to time you may be asked to subscribe.
